Paint and drywall that makes a room feel done
Drywall hung, taped, and finished smooth. Patches that disappear. Clean interior and trim paint with crisp lines. This is the work that takes a room from rough to finished — done by one crew that cares how the wall looks in raking light.
What we do
We hang, tape, and finish drywall for new walls, additions, and full rebuilds — flat seams, no telegraphing screws, ready for paint. We patch holes and old repairs so the fix blends into the wall instead of standing out. And we fix the things Maine homes get: hairline cracks over doors, water stains from an old leak, nail pops, and the seams that open up when a house moves through a freeze-thaw winter.
On the paint side we keep it clean and careful — interior walls, ceilings, and trim. Straight cut lines, surfaces prepped right, drop cloths down, and the room left tidy at the end of the day. Good prep is most of the job, and we don't skip it.
Why the finish holds up here
Maine humidity, lake-area moisture, and a house that expands and contracts all season are hard on drywall and paint. A patch that was rushed shows itself by spring; a seam that wasn't bedded right cracks again. We take the extra step at the prep and tape stage so the repair stays invisible and the paint stays put — done square, done clean, and done when we said we would.
We also handle the small jobs other crews won't call back about: one stained ceiling, a single cracked corner, a room that needs a fresh coat before it goes on the market. No job is too small to do right.
Common questions
Can you match an existing texture or finish when you patch a wall?
Yes. We feather the patch out and work the texture and sheen to blend with the surrounding wall, so the repair isn't the first thing you see when the light hits it. On older walls we'll tell you up front what to expect.
Will you fix the underlying problem behind a water stain, not just paint over it?
We handle the visible repair — cutting out damaged drywall, retaping, sealing the stain, and repainting. If there's an active leak behind it, that has to be stopped first; we can repair the water damage once the source is dealt with, and we'll talk it through during the free estimate.
Do you do both the drywall and the paint, or just one?
Either. One crew can hang, tape, finish, and paint a room start to finish, or we can come in for just the patch, just the paint, or just the drywall — whatever the job needs. Tell us what you've got and we'll give you an honest written quote.
